  1. Dancing the Salsa • Dancing has become all the rage in America due to reality shows such as Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. • Teaching dance in physical education classes would be great—with salsa music.

  2. French Music Through Podcast • Music from other cultures can be used to enhance language classes. • Students can listen and practice language skills with vocals.

  3. Learning to Play Instruments • Traditional learning of playing instruments still takes place at most schools—elementary through high school. • Band and orchestra students perform traditional concerts as well as more modern ones.

  4. Guitars in the Classroom • Guitars in the Classroom is a grassroots organization that brings free music and advice to students of all ages as well as their teachers. • Making music part of each student’s day is the goal.

  5. The Wii Orchestra • Wii has been introduced to the classroom as a teaching tool. • It can be used for music, group projects, exercise—whatever is relevant for the age level.
