  1. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

  2. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

  3. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16

  10. John 9:5, ‘As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.’ Matthew 5:14, He said, ‘Ye are the light of the world.’ As Christ followers we are to reflect HIM!

  11. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:8

  12. When Tim Tebow wore John 3:16 on his eye black during the 2009 Championship game over 92 million people googled that verse. .

Life Application: This week when you go to Garner, Fuquay, Middle Creek, WCA, Apex, Cary, Athens, Enloe, Cleveland, West Johnson, Hilltop, Green Hope, West Lake, Fuquay Middle, East Garner, North Garner Martin Middle or Homeschool—you are to be the salt and light! Let people see Christ in you.

  14. Life Application: When you go to work at IBM, GSK, SECU, REX, Wake Med, SAS, Cisco, DUKE, Wake Co.—you are to be a light in a dark world. Learn to see your job as your mission field. God has placed you there to shine and make a difference.

  15. Life Application: How is your Influence? If Tim Tebow can influence 92 million people to consider Christ in 1 game, what am I doing to influence my world for Jesus?
