  12. 2004 Budget Results • Approved Budget was - $158,250.00 (103 Members) • 2004 Actual expense was - $146,541.14 • $11,708.86 positive variance

  13. 2005 Budget • Budget Expense Amount of $194,450.00 (increase of $36,200.00) • Income Amount of $195,565.00 (101 member companies – lost 4, added 2, waiting on 2.) • $20,000.00 of the increase is an in/out donation from FDIC for GAC/PR.

  26. 2005 Initiatives The Board believes it is critical to continue the progress and momentum set by past Boards and Presidents. Specifically, we are going to take some of the initiatives that last year’s President put in motion, continue the momentum and strengthen them throughout 2005. We have also added a few more initiatives that we feel are strong opportunities for us to get started in FY05.

  27. 2005 Initiatives • Take Annex “D” promotions to the next level • Continue and strengthen financial support for governmental affairs • Make our statistic reporting user friendly and timely • Introduce seat belt / FAMA fundraiser campaign

  28. 2005 Initiatives • Strengthen committee leadership and build our Board bench • Update Long Range Plan for next 5 years based on member survey results • Complete White Paper update (Technical Committee)

Bylaws Committee • Amendment Pending (for next meeting): • Section 7.2 - Method of Election - “…to elect …Treasurer on alternate years.” - Should be amended to read “Secretary” • Amendment Requested: - Considering language that states two Board members cannot have any business relationship and serve simultaneously.

The Benefits To FAMA and FEMSA • The opportunity to share the workload on common causes • Increased wisdom • Increased revenue opportunities • Both Groups start with the letter F so it makes sense • The opportunity to increase the size of the markets both organizations compete in thru working smarter, not just harder
