  9. Pluperfect Subjunctive • Use the 3rd PP: amo, amare, amavi, amatum • Add “sse”: amavisse • Add the ending: • Voila! Pluperfect subjunctive!

  10. Imperfect Subjunctive • Use the infinitive: amo, amare, amavi, amatum • Add the ending: • Voila! Imperfect subjunctive!

  11. Types of Clauses • Cum Clause: Starts with “cum” • Indirect Question: Question word • Purpose Clause: begins with “ut” • Result Clause: begins with “ut” and has keywords (tam, tantus, adeo, tot) in main clause • Indirect Command: begins with “ut” and has verb of command in main clause
