  2. Hours of Operation • 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each school day. • Students may come in before school 7:00-7:30 without a pass, but must have a pass from a teacher at all other times. • Students may come in at lunch with a pass from lunch teacher.

  4. Check Out Policy • Students may check out books for a period of 2 weeks. Limit 2 books out at a time. • Books may be renewed without having to present book for renewal • Reference books may not be checked out. • Videos and equipment can not be checked out by students. • Magazines may be signed out for one week at a time.

  5. Overdue Books and Fines • Students are encouraged to return books on or before the due date • Students will not be allowed to renew or check out additional books if they have outstanding fines. • Outstanding debts can result in holding of student report cards and transcripts/diploma.

  6. Printing Costs • Computer printing: • The first 5 black ink pages are free. • Each additional page is available at .10 per page. Color prints are .50 per page • NO CREDIT!!!!!

  7. Surfing the Net Is a waste of time, when you can easily find what you need in these databases. You must have a signed Computer Use Form on file to use computers!

  8. Bibb County Schools Databases Encyclopedia & Dictionary with maps, web links and more Access magazine and newspaper articles, images and primary source information History, Science, Literature and Biography Databases Search engine for students Dictionary and Thesaurus Encyclopedia Britannica Word of the Day Career, College and Financial Aid/Scholarship Information

  9. Areas of the Library • Fiction Section- All along the wall • Non-Fiction Section- the number books are on the right side of the library. • Story Colletions- are on the left side. • Reference section is on the left side. • Can you check out a reference book?
