  2. What shall I wear? 1.)Am I Modest? 2.)Is it proper for professing Godliness?

  3. Why Do you go to the beach? • 60% of men said to watch women • 30% of females go to be watched • Seductive dress • Sexy dress • Attractive dress Watch Me

  4. IT IS SHAMEFUL TO EXPOSE ONE'S NAKEDNESS. • Isa 47:1 ¶ Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. • 2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. • 3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

  5. IT IS SHAMEFUL TO EXPOSE ONE'S NAKEDNESS. • Ex 28:40 ¶ And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty. • 41 And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office. • 42 And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach: • 43 And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.

  6. IT IS SHAMEFUL TO EXPOSE ONE'S NAKEDNESS. • Ge 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. • 8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. • 9 ¶ And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? • 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

  7. WE MUST NOT PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR FLESHLY LUSTS • Ro 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. • 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof • Does what we wear lead to provisions of the flesh?

  8. WE MUST NOT PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR FLESHLY LUSTS • 2Sa 11:2 And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. • 3 And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? • 4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.

  9. JESUS WARNED ABOUT "COMMITTING ADULTERY IN THE HEART"... Mt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

  10. CLOTHING MUST BE CONSISTENT WITH GODLINESS • 1Ti 2:9 ¶ In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; • 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

  11. Passages to ponder?????? • Ga 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, • 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, • 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  12. lasciviousness • The Greek word behind the English term “lascivious” is aselgeia. • It occurs nine times in the New Testament. Twice it is rendered as “wantonness” (Romans 13:13; 2 Peter 2:18), and once it appears as “filthy” (2 Peter 2:7). • The other six times it is translated as “lascivious” (cf. Mark 7:22; 2 Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 4:19; 1 Peter 4:3; Jude 4).

  13. Passages to ponder?????? • Pr 7:10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. • Pr 11:22 ¶ As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion. • Ro 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. • 1Jo 2:10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

  14. Let it shine, let it shine • Mt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. • 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. • 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

  15. Be not conformed to this world • Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. • What are you advertising?
