  3. Ongoing Accelerator Upgrades Proton Improvement Plan (2012-2018): double beam power of the proton source by increasing rep-rate 40  80 kW @ 8 GeV Muon Campus (2013-2018): convert antiproton source to meet needs of the muon program LBNE Main Injector (being commissioned now): double beam power by stacking beam in the Recycler and decreasing MI cycle time 350  700 kW @ 120 GeV

  4. Next Accelerator Upgrades Reorientation of “Project X” (now Proton Improvement Plan II) to focus on beam power for neutrinos. New 800 MeV SRF, CW capable linac: 80  120 kW @ 8 GeV 0.7  1.2 MW @ 80 -120 GeV Ready before LBNE starts 0.8 to 3 GeV & 3 to 8 GeV linacs replaces Booster 1.2  2.3 MW @ 60 -120 GeV ~5 years years later Plan to be presented at P5 meeting, 16 Dec at BNL
