  3. Aims of the Project • to increase awareness and appreciation of bats • to engage volunteers in survey for bats • to provide information for the National Bat Monitoring Programme (NBMP) and Local Biological Records Centre

  6. What was achieved • 27 volunteers, • 200+ volunteer hours • 34/57 squares surveyed on foot • 38/57 squares surveyed by car All this despite the weather ! 2009- Wales
