  2. Aircrafts • A short brief about aircrafts during WWI: • Aircrafts were a brand new invention during those times • Not only aircrafts were used for air wars, so as blimps, but only to observe the front line

  3. Types of Aircrafts used • Here are some of the planes that were used in WWI: • AEG C.IV fighter • AIRCO DH.2 • ANSALDO A 1 BALILA • BREGUET BR.M5

  4. AEG C.IV fighter • The AEG C.IV fighter was designed in Germany, it was made in 1916, and around 658 AEG C.IV fighters were made

  5. AIRCO DH.2 • The AIRCO DH.2 was designed in England, it was made by Geoffrey De Havilland. • It was designed in 1914 and it is used for scouting/ observing the front line • There was around 487 AIRCO DH.2’s made

  6. ANSALDO A 1 BALILLA “Hunter” • The ANSALDO A 1 BALILLA was made in Italy, it was made by ANSALDO • The aircraft was made in 1918, and there was an estimate of 108 ANSALDO A 1 BALILLA • The use of this plane was for dog fights, and some of the times for bombing

  7. BREGUET BR.M5 • The Breguet BR.5 was made in France in 1916, this plane was used for scouting/ observing the front line • There was no offical date/ how much of these aircrafts

  8. Famous pilots/ aces Manfred Von Richtofen was a German ace, he was born in Warsaw, Poland, but at that time it was still part of Germany

  9. Famous pilots/ aces Rene Paul Fonck was born in France, and was the ace of France With 75 victories, not only he served in WWI, but also served in WWII
