  5. Clarification • Website • Interaction with Media you have found • Interaction with core media for the course • Interaction with the readings (evidence of engagement with) • Interaction with the course and course members • Interaction with our topic words • Interaction with inquiry project

  6. Clarification • Website • Interaction with Media you have found (media collections, 30 collected by end of course. • First 20 or 22 ranked by binaries set up in the fall • Second 8 or 10 ranked by your own binaries

  7. Clarification • Website • Interaction with core media for the course (media interaction page) (some have separate page some have mixed in media collection, both okay) • Coverage of fall media (documents we did in class) • Coverage of core spring media (Slum Dog and Boy in SP) essay comparing and contrasting no less that 4 paragraphs.

  8. Clarification • Website • Interaction with the readings (evidence of engagement with) (1 reading per week in spring)

  9. Clarification • Website • Interaction with the readings (evidence of engagement with) (1 reading per week in spring)

  10. Clarification • Website • Interaction with the course and course members • Interaction with our topic words • Philosophy or reflection page (Fall) • Monthly installment of reflection page/or something documenting the course to date and your interaction with it. Minimum 2 paragraphs per entry: Bring in key words • Peer responses in Fall, (in spring we converted to 2 feedback a week does not have to appear on WS, do have to engage cc to me so I can see that you did this)

  11. Clarification • Website • Interaction with inquiry project: in Dec one entry saying what project is. • Since Jan one entry per week – updating, connecting to things you are seeing, to other presentations, ….just something that helps us see that you are weekly engaging your topic of inquiry or interest. • Once the presentation is done, engage feedback, • Continue inquiry, on weekly basis using your topic as lens…until end of course • 1 paragraph or two is enough, more if you like

  12. Clarification • Spring Inquiry Project • Presentation • Paper • Feedback • Website

  13. Clarification • Spring Inquiry Project: Presentation • Presentation between 25-36 min. • On inquiry topic chosen by you and approved by me • Engages topic words: children, media, change • Uses Arednt quote regards change • Absences difficult to work with • You do 2 feedbacks for someone else • You receive 2 feedbacks on your presentation and interact with them on website • Engages 3 scholarly resources

  14. Clarification • Spring Inquiry Project: Paper • Due March 9 • On same topic as presentation: formal paper format formal citing, bibliography • No less than 6 pages (can be longer) • Like presentation, includes 3 scholarly resources • Handed in in digital format to me directly • Also posted on website under Project B tab

  15. Clarification • Spring Inquiry Project: feedbacks • You need to deal with feedback regards your presentation, you will receive two feedbacks, process them – and discuss on website under project B tab, (I would make them that week’s entry) • You need to give two feedbacks, (see sheet for when)…cc me when you do this.

  16. Clarification • Spring Inquiry Project: Website • As stated earlier: you created a Project B tab on your website in DEC. and put on there what your project is on. • Since then you should be making weekly entries updating us on your project • You should also put your processing of feedback • You should also mount your paper (download is fine).
