  2. What is your understanding of the Church? • The Church is a religious association/organization exclusive to Christianity.

  3. Why is the Church a community of believers? • The Church is a community of believers because they share the same beliefs and fundamentals (system of thoughts) in the same God.

  4. What makes the Church different from any other communities? • There are multiple requirements such as: -Acceptance of God -Baptism -Communion *People of other races, classes or backgrounds are tolerated by the Church*

  5. What do "Qahal" and "Ekklesia" mean? What is the relevance of these words to the Church? • Ekklesia/Ecclesia-Latin/Greek translation for Church(New Testament), congregation or assembly. In the New Testament the term Ekklesia is used for local communities and in a universal sense to mean all believers. • Qahal-Hebrew translation for multitude, company, congregation or assembly. Very similar to Ekklesia.

  6. What does this text say about the Church? • In the church, we are fellow brothers and sisters in the family of God. • The church is founded upon the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ being the center. • As a part of the Church, we are a holy temple for God by the Holy Spirit.
