WHAT IS A MOBILE APPLICATION?

  • Small stand-alone program

  • Can be utilized in the mobile environment or

    in a traditional computer system

  • Our definition of an accessible mobile application for the purpose of this workshop is that:

    • Many of the apps we suggest today may be more beneficial and accessible to someone who has a learning disability (i.e. ADHD).

    • Many of the apps we demonstrate MAY NOT be accessible or beneficial for someone who has a visual impairment.
