  1. FMEA Innovator Step – by – step Tutorial

  2. Enter Username • Enter Password • Select OK

  3. Select COVER PAGE

  4. COMPLETE COVER PAGE

  5. Select HOME

  6. Select PROCESS STEP

  7. Unprotect Sheet • Enter Process Steps • Enter Functions

  8. Select FMEA once completed

  9. Select Process Step from drop down

  10. FUNCTION is automatically pulled forward from Process Step Database

  11. Inser t Equiment, Machine, Device, Jig • Prompted to add to database • Select Yes

  12. Select the  DBS to view the Equipment, Machine Database

  13. Dynamic Torque Tool is added to the Database

  14. Unprotect the Database • Enter Password

  15. Select SORT Button • Database is now Sorted • Change Date Reviewed to current Date • e.g. zzz Reviewed 17/02/2010 to zzz Reviewed 02/10/2010

  16. Add Product or Process Requirements

  17. Insert Requirement break to separate multiple Requirements

  18. Enter Potential Failure Mode • Select Yes to add to database when prompted

  19. To add an additional Potential Failure Mode • Select Cell (new row will be added UNDERNEATH selected cell) • Select Insert row from Menu

  20. Enter 1 to add 1 row UNDERNEATH cell selected • Select OK

  21. New row is inserted UNDERNEATH

  22. Enter Failure Mode • Insert Failure Mode break to separate the two different failure modes

  23. Select yes

  24. Failure Mode break is now inserted

  25. You can select an item from the Database if already entered before

  26. Insert Failure Effect break to separate multiple Failure Effects

  27. Failure Effect break inserted

  28. Insert Failure Cause break to separate multiple Failure Causes

  29. Failure Cause Break

  30. Select Apply Filters

  31. Filters is now applied

  32. Select Filter by Product Requirement drop down

  33. Uncheck blanks to hide all blanks

  34. Product Requirements is now filtered by blanks

  35. Select drop down under S supplier • Deselect everything • Select 4

  36. Data is filtered by 4

  37. Select Clear Filters to remove all the filters

  38. Filters Removed

  39. Select Find

  40. Enter item to find and select Find Next

  41. Select Spelling

  42. To correct spelling mistakes

  43. Select a cell • Select Highlight cells

  44. Select A colour

  45. Cell is now highlighted
