Biographical Sketch Tri-Valley School Scoreboard • Born July 15, 1949 Chula Vista, CA • Died March 20, 1991, Healy, AK (plane crash) • Came to Alaska in 1959 • Avid hunter and outdoorsman • 1967 graduate of Lathrop High School • Served 4 years in the US Navy • Married Beverly Hall September 20, 1970 • Had 5 children: Tina, Amber, Aaron, Melissa & Dawn • Worked at GVEA power plant, started as a utility man & retired as plant superintendent • Served as president of the TVS booster club and school board member • Enjoyed sports and being around teenagers Ricky Lew Mitchell
