Past Activities Go Live on 11/13/06 Day 1 production issues • “Housekeeping Error” – Some Market Participants experienced this error when attempting to submit an issue in MarkeTrak.  This error was intermittent and did not impact all Market Participants.  ERCOT implemented a few configuration changes to resolve this issue.  ERCOT will continue to monitor this issue. • Incorrect URL – Please ensure that you use the following URLs when accessing MarkeTrak: GUI: https://marketrak.ercot.com:8443/tmtrack.dll? API: https://marketrakapi.ercot.com:8443 • User set up errors – Some MarkeTrak users were not able to log into the system.  Please contact ERCOT’s Helpdesk (512-248-6800), if you experience user set up errors. • Submitting issues with the correct sub-type – When submitting an issue, please refer to the MarkeTrak user guide to ensure you are choosing the correct sub-type for your issue. 2

Current Activities • Retail Client Services and Retail Customer Choice continuing to work with MP on various questions • Listed are the types of calls that Retail Client Service’s received during the first week of MarkeTrak. • MarkeTrak Access - 34 • How to add users -10 • Issue- Workflow Questions - 5 • Bulk Insert Questions - 4 • MarkeTrak Reporting Questions – 3 • DUNS was not set up in MarkeTrak – 3 • Digital Certification Info - 2 • MarkeTrak call - 2 • Request MarkeTrak Link - 1 • Request MarkeTrak User Guide - 1 3

Current Activities • 55 tickets logged to ERCOT’s Help Desk (29 different MPs) • 1 referred to Retail Client Services • 46 access related (can’t log in; digital cert questions; MT admin questions) • 5 business process flow related (questions about voting; how to use bulk insert) • 2 performance related – both filed by 1 MP • 1 API related 3

Current Activities • ERCOT has received questions about ****** in some output fields when running reports • Only MarkeTrak Administrators have the rights to view all report data • The ****** indicate that the user does not have the privileges to view that particular data • ERCOT has created a “Detailed Report Privilege” role to allow users to view all fields in their reports • Your MarkeTrak Administrator can assign this role to individuals that must have access to all data fields 4

  18. FasTrak stats Reminder - ERCOT will keep the FasTrak tool online (with entry of new issues disabled) for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the implementation of MarkeTrak to production. This is in support of the current timelines in the market for the working of DEV issues. 6

  19. ‘Day to Day’ FasTrak Issue Stats by Category (thru 11/30/2006) Legend: Counts are of issues submitted during each month. EI = ERCOT Initiated Issue Non-ERCOT issue = Issues logged directly between the CR and TDSP with no ERCOT involvement to resolve. Category of “All Other” does not have subtype. Issues logged as “All Other” can include Transaction Issues, Rep of Record Issues, Service Order Changes, etc.
