CVMFS project news • CVMFS version with NFS export • Tested at DESY, SIGNET, SFU • 300 WNs, 4k parallel jobs (DESY), 2k cores (SIGNET) • Runs very stable • Network eventually loaded • To be released in production latest next week • Currently open issues, under investigation • Make distinction between T1/2 at a site sharing compute resources (CMS) • Two sites with lustre shared software area and need to run in disk-less mode (ATLAS) preGDB - S Roiser

Deployment Reminder 30 April 2013 • ATLAS & LHCbhave set a deployment target date • After that date no new software will be installed in the “old shared software areas” • CMS strongly recommends deployment at all supporting sites • ALICE about to join the deployment effort in early 2013 preGDB - S Roiser

  4. Deployment Status Status of 97 sites targeted by the task force: Using lustre 3 emails + GGUS ticket with reminder GGUS opened, asking for date Status (+/- December), Total Deployment Status Dec ’12 (last GDB) preGDB - S Roiser
