  4. 15-Min. Task Force Update • Joint MIS / ISAS member task force • Discussing the “how” of 15-minute scheduling rather than the “why” • Purpose - to solicit and compile a solid understanding of how 15-minute scheduling would impact WECC members

  5. 15-Min. Task Force Update • The first survey results pointed to the majority of impact being realized by TPs • The task force circulated a second survey • Goal: develop better understanding of impacts anticipated by Transmission Providers: • Only circulated to Transmission Providers • Three responses received to date • Closes end of this week

  6. 15-Min. Task Force Update Next Steps: • Compile input received from both surveys and report back to MIS and ISAS at the November meetings • Conference call meeting early November to finalize presentations for MIS and ISAS • Questions and comments: john.jamieson@pgn.com

MAP Guideline Update • Revised Merchant Alert Protocol Guideline: • Expand use; • Document approach to testing; and, • Clarify information required from merchant to balancing authority. • Recent Activity: • Successful test conducted on September 16th; • Actual alerts issued on 4/19, 5/11, 7/5 and 7/6; • Entities indicated that responses to alerts was positive.

  8. MAP Guideline Cont….. • Additional Information: • Quarterly tests are currently scheduled for 2012 on the 2nd Wednesday in March, June, September and December. • Approval Item – Revised MAP Guideline
