  3. SGS: the facts • 20 participants • About half from outside Switzerland • Theory and practical exercises concerning: • Grid architecture in general • Security • Information services • Resource management and job submission • Data management • Software: • ARC, gLite, Condor, BOINC, XtremWeb-CH

  4. SGS: the perception • 9 out of 20 students responded to a questionnaire • 88% found the event was useful (12% moder. useful) • Quality of event: 100% good • Most of the lectures were perceived good quality • Thanks to SMSCG project and members to support the school with person power, hard and software! An AAA/SWITCH funded project
