  4. Instruments cont. Woodwinds: Use a wooden reed that vibrates to produce sound. Only exception is the flute which is metal but does not use buzzing like the brass. Includes: Flute Clarinet Saxophone Oboe Bassoon

  5. Instrument cont. Percussion- Uses sticks for mallets. Played by hitting the instrument. Includes: Snare Timpani Mallet instruments Cymbals
