  2. Mission The mission of the Arkadelphia Public School District is to create a quality learning organization where student achievement results in excellence within the local and global community.

Accreditation The Arkadelphia School District consists of five individual campuses, all of which are accredited by AdvancEd and the ADE through the district accreditation process AdvancEd accreditation visit was conducted in January, 2018 • Arkadelphia High School, 1923 • Goza Middle School, 1976 • Peake Elementary School, 1986 • Central Primary School, 1979 • Louisa E. Perritt Primary School, 1979 • Arkadelphia Public Schools, 2008*

Enrollment / Average Daily Membership ADM 2010-11 – 1,947 students (+27) ADM 2011-12 – 1,964 students (+17) ADM 2012-13 – 1,973 students (+9) ADM 2013-14 – 1,957 students (-16) ADM 2014-15 - 1,898 students (-59) ADM 2015-16 - 1,882 students (-16) ADM 2016-17 – 1,819 students (-63) ADM 2017-18 – 1,782 students (-36) September 2018 – 1,755 students K-12 *PreK enrollment – 165 students Total – 1,920 – Arkadelphia Public Schools

Student Assessment Arkansas Assessment • K-2 Exam - NWEA • ACT Aspire – Grades 3-10 (math, science, English, writing & reading) • ACT – All 11th grade students • PSAT – All 10th grade students • AP Exams • ACT Aspire Interim Assessments – Grades 3-10 • PPVT – All students entering Kindergarten

Student Achievement • College and Career Ready – ACT Aspire • New Assessment for K-2 - Local • ESSA – US Department of Education • New data, new standards, new assessment • APS not on Focus / Priority list for ADE, however all have targeted areas of improvement outlined for math and literacy. • ACT scores just below state average

  9. Continuous Improvement • Each school develops their Arkansas Consolidated School Improvement Plan (ACSIP) and submits it to ADE for approval each year. The district also submits a plan on an annual basis. • AdvancEd / NCA Review Teams, ADE Standards Review Teams, Technical Assistance Review Teams, ADE Scholastic Audit, Program Monitoring in Special Education, Federal Programs, Gifted & Talented and Early Childhood Programs.
