  1. My country: How can we contribute to Global Innovation -Natasha Jadhav India

  2. SalwarKameez:It is a traditional dress worn by most of the woman all over India. The long scarf, called the DUPATTA is used to cover the area around the neck or the head. The long length of the KAMEEZ (top) and the SALWAR (pants) prevents one from showing excess skin. These designs on the dress appear on most of the salwarkameez and represent the Indian traditional patterns.

  3. This westernized dress has been inspired by the traditional Indian salwarkameez. Using the DUPATTA as a long scarf and shortening the length of the KAMEEZ (top) makes it wearable for all. This top has been paired with tight leggings that represent the SALWAR (pants) and have been given a tiger print as the Tiger is the National Animal of India.

  4. GhagraCholi:This is an attire worn by women on traditional festive occasions. The CHOLI is a fashionable blouse and the long skirt is called GHAGRA which has heavy sequin work on it. The DUPATTA could be worn in different ways, as per ones liking.

  5. Cocktail dress:This dress is inspired by the GHAGRA CHOLI and could be worn as a party dress. Since Peacock is the National Bird of India, its colors have been used on the bottom.

  6. Saree:It is a strip of unstitched cloth worn by women all over India. The saree borders are embroidered with the traditional patterns and colors which represents the age old tradition and cultures of India.

  7. Saree-Gown:Inspired by the traditional Indian saree, its front borders have the traditional Indian pattern and a strip of cloth called the (pallu), like in the SAREEs hanging on the back. This gown looks very chic and elegant.
