  • Two-year allocation, with goal:

  • Improve energy efficiency of Ontario schools

  • Facilitate creation of energy consumption database: electricity and natural gas

  • Incentive Programs Advisor:

    • MoE and OPA supporting creation of Incentives Programs Advisor position for education sector

    • Liaise with plant officials on appropriate incentive programs

    • Track applications, funding, evaluate effectiveness

    • Document best practices

    • Identify barriers and develop strategies to maximize participation

      • Identify low performing schools/boards and provide advice and technical support
