  4. What is the E.O.G.? • The Ready End of Grade test • Standardized test given to all Wake County students that assesses how well they grasped the grade level objectives taught throughout the school year.

  5. What is new this year? • North Carolina now follows the Common Core State Standards which requires more deep thinking for all students. • So….. NEW curriculum means NEW tests

  6. When are we testing? • Reading is on May 29th • Math is on May 30th (Calculator Inactive and Active all in one day this year)

  7. Administration Time Maximum time does not include time for breaks and general instructions.

  10. Supplies students will be using while testing: • Test booklet • Answer sheet • #2 pencils • Highlighters • Blank paper • Graph paper • Calculators for Calculator Active portion only! *All supplies mentioned will be supplied the days of testing

  11. Keywords to go over: • Cell phones • Breakfast • Breaks • Absences/ tardies • Scores • Make ups • Retakes

  12. Attention!!!!!!! We are STILL in need of testing proctors. If you are able to proctor please let your child’s teacher know ASAP!!
