ANYAR MARKET,TANGGERANG CITY • Location : Tanggerang City of Banten Province • Design 1: The live bird and the carcass vendors are in the same zone of the market, which the poultry cages are placed at backside of the kiosk. • Building concepts: • The buyers look the live birds inside metal cages from the backside or behind of the kiosk (separated by clear glass wall) • The sellers process the live birds at the slaughtering area. • The buyers receive the carcass from the front of the kiosk • Floors, tables and walls are made from ceramics, but special for tables are coated with stainless steel plate. • The kiosks have live birds storage area (metal cages), slaughtering area and carcass display tables • The live bird market has an open water drainage, deep well and rain water source with 20.000 litres water tank capacity as well as waste water treatment installation.

BOJONG NANGKA MARKET,TANGGERANG DISTRICT • Location: Tanggerang District of Banten Province. • Design 2: The zone for carcasses display is inside of the market (clean area), whereas the zone for slaughtering the birds is outside of the market (dirty area). • Building concept of the slaughtering area: • The slaughtering area is consist of live bird storage area with metal cages, live birds killed and dressed area and cutting up area • The walls are made from ceramics and clear glass to clean easier • The roof is made form transparent material, therefore the sunlight can access into the roomdirectly • There is a concreted pathways for cleaning and disinfectant of poultry truck and crates nearby the building. • The live bird market has an open water drainage, deep well and rain water source as well as waste water treatment installation.

ANYAR MARKET,BOGOR CITY • Location: Bogor City of West Java Province. • Design 3: The live bird market is located in the basement of the main market and mixed with other commodities • Design concepts: • Make a clear separation between poultry market with other commodities with ceramic tiles and clear glass for the barrier • The live bird cages placed in an open area whereas the slaughtering area are placed at the corner of the basement which separated by clear glass walls • The buyers will look the live birds that was placed in the metal cages before its slaughtered at slaughtering area by the vendors • Most of the sellers sell native chicken and few for broiler, therefore the buyers are prefer buy the live birds rather than carcasses. • The live bird market has an open water drainage, deep well and rain water source as well as waste water treatment installation.

PARUNG PANJANG MARKET,BOGOR DISTRICT • Location: Bogor district of West Java Province • Design 4: Clear zone between live birds and other commodities with a communal slaughtering area • The live bird market is placed at outside from the main building of the market separated with other commodities. • Design Concept: • Poultry commodities are separated clearly with other commodities by concrete wall as a barrier • The live bird market has a communal slaughtering area and live birds temporary storage which separated by ceramics tile and clear glass • There is a different level of height between poultry cages area and the pathway which more height for poultry cages area than the pathway • The roof is made form transparent material, therefore the sunlight can access into the room directly • The live bird market has an open water drainage, deep well and rain water source as well as waste water treatment installation.

Design 1 : C&D station with two lanes side by side (capacity for 4 trucks) • Location: Cakung collector yard (East Jakarta) • Design concept: • This station is located close to the exit gate of collector yard and used for the vehicles that will going out from the location after unloading the chickens. • This design is suitable for the collector yard that has many incoming trucks, so the process of truck’s cleaning can run faster than only has one line and does not cause long queues as well. • C & D station consists of two lane side by side, where in each lane can load 2 trucks in parallel

Design 2 : C&D station with 1 line (capacity for 2 trucks) • Location: • Pulo Gadung collector yard (East Jakarta) • Rawa Kepiting collector yard (East Jakarta) • Berkah Pitikku collector yard (Bekasi city) • Design concept: • This station is located close to the exit gate of collector yard and used for the vehicles that will going out from the location after unloading the chickens. • This design is suitable for the collector yard/slaughterhouse that has many incoming trucks, but there is not enough land for C&D station location. • C & D station consists of 1 lane that can load 2 trucks in parallel

Design 3 : C&D station with 1 line (capacity for 1 truck) • Location: • Ciseeng, Bogor district, West Java Province. • Semangi market, Surakarta city, central Java Province • Design concept: • This design is suitable for the collector yard or truck wash station that has small number of incoming trucks or there is not enough land for C&D station location. • C & D station consists of 1 lane that can only load 1 truck
