What is VET Treps? • Veterans attend an 8-week program designed to help get their start-up off the ground and running • College Credit for Introduction to Entrepreneurship • First step in securing seed money • Offered at no cost to include a business partner • Opportunity to compete for grants

  5. SCORE Pinellas • Create College Level Program for Vets must be accelerated program • College credit would be beneficial • Student becomes SCORE client • Tuition must be FREE • Noteworthy – (to date)10% of these students convert to full time students.

  6. SCORE Pinellas • Veteran’s Initiative • Mentoring • Community Partnerships • Veteran’s Expo – Nov. 10th

  7. SCORE Pinellas • Must be a US Military Veteran • (any era from any service Branch) • Honorable Discharge • Immediate Family invited • Must complete H-Work and attend all classes (or make-up) to graduate

  8. Objectives of the VET Treps Program • Do SMART marketing and sales • Lead a team to delegate and grow • Generate healthy and stable financial returns
