  2. Functionality iCG’s dii Connector is an easy to use application that allows you to quickly create Summation Image Volumes with eCopy. Our simple interface makes installation and usage almost effortless. Your firm will save money by reducing the amount of time spent on non-revenue generating administrative tasks like scanning and preparing documents for Summation.

  3. Easy to Use Run the setup file Configure a Quick Connector Launch the application Scan to DII Volume

  4. Quick Connector Setup Step 1 Start the ShareScan OP Administration Application Select an available Quick Connector to configure Name it Summation

  5. Quick Connector Setup Step 2 Go to the “Advanced” Tab Set the “Image Format” to TIF or TIF Fax

  6. Quick Connector Setup Step 3 Go to the “Destination” Tab Create a new “Destination Directory” entry for your Docs (this is the directory where the dii connector will look for new documents)

  7. Quick Connector Setup Step 4 Go to the “File Name” Tab Create a new “File Name” Field for your documents

  8. Quick Connector Setup Step 5 Go to the “Index File” Tab Create three new field entries for your documents: Path, File Name and PGCOUNT BE SURE YOU SET THE FIELD “TYPE” FOR EACH FIELD AND THE ORDER OF THE FIELDS EXACTLY AS IN EXAMPLE!

  9. Quick Connector Setup • Step 6 • You are now ready to scan documents • Be sure the dii Connector application is running and your hardware license key dongle is plugged in to a USB port • Login to eCopy • Select the dii Quick Connector • Scan documents

  10. Quick Usage • IT’S EASY! • When the dii Connector application is started you are prompted to point the dii quick connector to the same output directory you setup in the eCopy OP Manager

  11. Quick Usage • The dii Connector form will appear. You can move the form to a place on the screen that is convenient for you to see and still be able to view your documents being scanned. • If you minimize the dii Connector application form, it will move to the system tray in the right corner of the task bar. Double click the icon in the system tray to make the applciation reappear.

  12. Quick Usage • Start Scanning! When the first document is scanned, the dii Connector will prompt you to enter the Summation Volume name. This is the name of the directory that will contain your images and the dii file used to load them into summation in batch. • Check the “DON’T PROMPT FOR EACH DOCUMENT” checkbox if you don’t want to be prompted to enter a volume after each document is scanned

  13. Quick Usage • That’s it! When you are finished scanning, your documents will be located in a folder below the dii connector folder. This folder will contain the images and a dii file of the same name with @I pathing.
