All kids can learn to sing

All Kids Can Learn To Sing!

Research shows that musical talent is not a fixed trait.

Students will improve with consistent effort and attention to classroom instruction.

Fair grading policy

Fair Grading Policy

Students enter 7th Grade at different stages of vocal development and have had varying degrees of exposure to music reading and theory.

If a student puts forth a strong effort and contributes fully to the rehearsals, I will minimize the effect of music theory and vocal skills tests on the quarter grade.
