  2. When Was It Created ? • The idea of laptops came around in the 60’s • The first rough idea of a laptop came out in 197 by IBM called IMB 5100 • The first real laptop came out in 1981 by Osborne Computer Comapany

  3. Why Was It Created ? • Well it was created in the 60’s and 70’s for children to play with • It was created in the 80’s for adults and it was meant for it to be portable and answer to use anywhere

  4. The change in the look • The laptop has changed a lot since 1975 • Laptops in 1981 were bulky, without a hard drive and ran on REM and Floppy Disk. • The most change came around in the 90’s when Apple came around

  5. Positive and Negative Effect • Its faster and more convenient • It’s a danger to your health • It also makes me infertile

  6. Different Brands • Dell • Toshiba • Apple • IMB • XP

  7. Effect on the Environment • There is not direct effect on the environment but the first real eco friendly laptop came out this year.

  8. Modern Day • The laptop is smaller and sleeker look and feel now • Laptops now have hardrives • The leading company in computer sales is Apple , Dell , and Toshiba
