  3. What is Human Trafficking? Human Trafficking is organized crime which exploits people to make profit out of them. www.notonmywatch.mobi

How much of this is going on? • It is the 2nd largest organized crime today, 2nd only to drugs. • It is the FASTEST growing criminal activity in the world. • There are an estimated 27 million slaves in the world today. • The average age of trafficking victims is 12 years old. (A21 Campaign) • 1.2 million children are trafficked every year. (STOP THE TRAFFIK) • During 2003 there were an estimated 4,000 victims of trafficking for prostitution in the UK at any given time. How can Human Trafficking be stopped? 1.AWARE- The more people that know about Human Trafficking, the faster change will come. 2.POLITICAL PRESSURE- Laws can be made which directly oppose and decrease Trafficking. 3.PRAYER- The underlying reason for Human Trafficking is a spiritual problem which only God can fix. www.notonmywatch.mobi
