Preparing for the Eog • Keep a positive attitude. • Read, read, read, read, read every night!!!!! • Use question stems to ask your child comprehension type questions to check for understanding. • Have your child review as many math strategies as possible. (ex. Land of G, subtraction and estimation rhymes, lining up numbers, etc.)

Testing Day Expectations • Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep well the night before • Materials on the walls will be covered up or taken down • Classroom bathroom break BEFORE and AFTER the test, NOT DURING • Proctors in the room during the test • Monitors in the hallways • No talking,, No moving around (Students must stay in their seats.) • No noise. Nothing that beeps (cell phones, watches, toys, etc.)

  13. After the EOG • We are still teaching/learning after the test is over. • Address gaps to prepare for the end of year CFA • Remediate skills • Retest
