How to Handle a Home Work • Read the paper carefully • Consider the paper a grant application and yourself an NIH reviewer • Summarize in no longer than one page and in your own words the following: • The main goal of the paper - What is the question they tried to answer? • The application of nanotechnology in this bio-study • Strong & weak points about the nanotech approach in this study • Possible “novel” future applications • What would you do differently to make it a better study • Do you think it was worth publishing - Would you grant them the $$$
