  4. Projectile Motion • The trajectory of a projectile is a special type of arch- or bowl-shaped curve called a parabola. When you throw a ball, it follows a curved path called a parabola.

  5. Projectile Motion The range of a projectile is the horizontal distance it travels in the air before touching the ground.
