calculators recommended. Calculators capable of symbolic manipulation will not be
allowed on tests. Examples include, but are not limited to,
TI 89, TI 92, and Nspire CAS models
and HP 48 models. Neither cell phones nor PDA\'s can be used as calculators.
Calculators may be cleared before tests.
Homework will be assigned but not picked up. Keeping up with homework daily is
imperative to your learning and will help prepare you for exams.
Eight 20 points quizzes will be given.
The three lowest quiz scores will be dropped.
The final quiz grade will be a compilation
of the remaining 5 scores.

Make-up Exams:There will be four partial tests and a cumulative final test.
There are no make-ups for missed exams. The final test may replace one missing test grade provided that you contact me the test day and bring a documented excuse for the absence. If you fail to contact me the test day and/or do not bring a documented excuse, you will receive a zero.
The use of cell phones is not allowed in the room. Please turn off all electronic devices before entering the room.
