Explain your choice. • Watch States and Properties of Matter Interactive Video • Summarize 5 “Interactions” • Read States of Matter

Essential Questions • How do molecules move within a solid, a liquid, and a gas? • What happens to the average energy of the molecules in a substance when it is heated? • What does “change of state” mean? • What changes occur when a substance changes state? Today’s Tasks 10/28 & 10/31 • You need to answer these questions in your journal. Use Discovery Education resources to help you find them. • Last task is to find a means to present your answers. You may work in groups, use technology, whatever you would like. The bottom line is, you must prove understanding of these 4 questions.
