Characters • Mrs. Frisby- A widow with four children who’s husband died last summer . • Cynthia- The youngest of four. • Teresa- The oldest of four. • Martin- The biggest of four. • Timothy- The sickest of four. • Mr. Ages- The doctor who gives timothy the medicine and the doctor who makes dragons powder. • Dragon- Farmer Fitzgibbons cat. • Farmer Fitzgibbon- The farmer. • Billy- The farmers wild son. • Paul- The farmers quiet son. • The Owl- gives animals information or solutions. • Nicodemus- The leader of the rats. • Brutus- The substitute guard for the rats. • Justin- The main guard rat. • Isabella- A little rat. • Jenner- A rat of nimh. • Doctor Shultz- A doctor rat. • Julie-A NIMH assistant. • George- A NIMH assistant. • Jeremy- The crow who tells Mrs.Frisby about the owl.

  3. Settings Fitzgibbon’s farm. NIMH. Rosebush (Rats’ home). Cinderblock (Mrs. Frisby’s house). Woods. Tree hole (Owl’s house). Boniface estate. Toy Tinker. Thorn Valley (Rats’ new home). Sewer . Farmers market.

  4. Problem • The problem is her son Timothy has pneumonia and spring is coming soon. That means Mr. Fitzgibbon is going to plow the field. If timothy doesn’t get out of bed in time they could get ran over by the plow.

  5. Solution Mrs. Frisby got into the rats home with being Mr. Frisby’s wife(with the owls help). She then talked to Nicodemous who told her that if she got dragon asleep then they could dig her house out and move it. So they did it. The rats dug up her house and moved it next to the rock. Then they prepared for the poison.

  6. Plot The Widow named Mrs. Frisby is in trouble her son named Timothy is sick with pneumonia. Spring is coming up and he isn’t healthy enough, if he doesn’t get better they could get killed by the plow. On her journey she meets an owl, helps a crow, makes friends with the rats, and learns more about her husband Mr. Frisby while surviving Dragon, the cat. She saved the crow so he flew her to the owl. The owl gives her wise advice to go to the rats, because her husband is Mr. Frisby.

  7. Plot Mr. Frisby went way back with the rats all the way to NIMH actually. They made a plan to move their house and then the rats told her the story of NIMH. They needed to work at night to finish it before the dead line. So she needs to put the sleeping powder in dragon’s bowl. Mrs. Frisby could be in danger if she isn’t fast enough she could get caught or eaten. She doesn’t make it she get’s caught by the farmer’s son, Billy. To her rescue Justin saves her. She get’s her house moved, but there is more danger up ahead. The rats could die so they come up with a plan. Thankfully they already were planning on moving. They had a big food supply and were ready for the worst.

  8. Ending In the end the people came with poison and sprayed it inside the rats home. But they knew this in advance. So they had only 10 rats stay behind to trick the people. While the rest of the clan went to thorn valley to start a new life with no electricity, running water etc. Anyway, only 7 rats came out and then 1 more came out, it was Brutus, and then he fell and past out. Mr. Ages then gave him some medicine and he became conscious again. Then Brutus said ,“I’m not sure who but someone saved me”. By then the people had found 2 dead rats in the hole but they didn’t know who. Then they took them to their car and left. Then the 8 rats left and they were gone .
