  3. Childhood • Lived in multiple public housing systems, causing him to change schools frequently. • Was one of the only white children, got treated poorly for it. • Was the target for violent bullying at school • From a young age, he considered himself as a recluse.

Music beginning • Both parents were musically inclined and were in a band called Daddy Warbucks. • Starting attending freestyle rap battles • Took up rap after he dropped out of high school • Joined groups like New Jacks and D12 before going solo. • Where Marshall Mathers turned to “M & M”, and eventually evolved into” Eminem”
