  2. Biography • Born March 1943-Present. • Field of study, Atmospheric and Environmental Chemistry. • Born in Mexico, Mexico City.

  3. His Accomplishment • Molina joined the lab of Professor F. Sherwood Rowland in 1973 as a postdoctoral fellow. • Molina tried the figure out how CFC’S might be destroyed in the lower atmosphere. • They discovered that chlorine atoms, produced by the decomposition of CFC’S, catalytically destroy ozone.

  4. Explaining his discovery • Him and his partner Professor F. Sherwood Rowland discovered that chlorine atoms, produced by the decomposition of CFC’S, catalytically destroy ozone.

  5. Personal Opinion • My personal opinion about the famous scientists Mario Molina, is that the accomplishment of discovering that chlorine atoms, destroy ozone. It mostlikley wont benefit younger kids and teens.

  6. Two Interesting facts • After finishing his undergraduate studies in Mexico, he decided to obtain a Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry. • After completing his Ph.D. degree in 1972, he stayed for another year at Berkeley to continue research on chemical dynamics.
