Fiske (1989) refers to “excorporation” as the process by which groups (often marginalized), make their own culture out of the resources and commodities provided by the dominant system. • Culture jamming, like advertising, addresses us as consumers. It often seeks to influence our behaviour as consumers and prod us to consume more ethically.
