  5. Focus of the module • Economics of taxation - Iain • Income tax - Cathy • Corporation tax - John

  6. Assessment & Pass Rates • Assessed 100% by exam at the end of semester 2. • The exam is of 3 hours duration. • 1st year so no pass rates as yet • Exam format: • Section A: choice of essay • 3 essays on Economics of Tax, choose 1 (30 marks) • Section B: compulsory • IT question: numerical and narrative (30 marks) • CT question: numerical and narrative (30 marks) • Another smaller question on specific topic (10 marks)
