  2. Communio As an academic institution, our community is rooted in the Norbertine ideal of communio, which is characterized by mutual esteem, trust, sincerity, faith and responsibility. Communio is lived through open dialogue, communication, consultation, and collaboration. Communio encourages us to respond individually and collectively to the needs of our local and global communities.

  7. Our Policies • Our policies are based on Local, State and Federal laws • Alcohol • Drugs • 99% of the SNC Behavioral policies are grounded on respect for yourself and others • Property • Personal behavior • Health and Safety

Behavioral Policies Good Decisions Not-As-Good Decisions • Study for exams • Go to class • Meet new friends • Get involved on campus • Spend time with friends in the campus center • Work out in Schuldes • Go to programs in your building • Cram at the last minute • “Meh, I’ll make the next one” • Hide in your room • Get involved with house parties • Recklessly start fires • Run from Police • Host parties in your room

The Conduct Process Possible Sanctions include but are not limited to; • Alcohol First Offence • $50 Fine, Probation • Drug First Offence • $200 Fine, Drug Assessment with a Counselor, Discipline Probation • Alcohol Second Offence • $100 Fine, Alcohol Assessment with Counselor, letter sent home to parents or guardian • Drug Second Offence • Possible suspension from the Institution
