  1. Laryngitis Swelling and irritation/ inflammation of the voice box/ larynx and is usually associated with hoarseness or loss of voice.

  3. Two Types Of Laryngitis Acute: abrupt onset and usually self-limited Chronic (ongoing): condition of long standing laryngeal inflammation, thick sticky mucus, and lining thickness not associated with the infection. Classified as chronic if you have laryngitis for more than 3 weeks.

  4. Resting your voice to reduce inflammation • Using a humidifier may soothe the scratchy feeling • Painkillers may relieve symptoms of an upper respiratory system if you have one • Hydration Treatment

  5. The most common form of laryngitis is caused by a flu or cold virus also caused by bacteria, allergies, pneumonia, bacterial infection, irritants, chemicals, gastroesaphageal reflux disease (GERD). Causes of Laryngitis
