X-ray difraction equipment,( 77 K - 1800 K) - crystalline structures - textures - internal stresses - particles distribution BABEŞ-BOLYAI UNIVERSITY CLUJ-NAPOCA FACULTY OF PHYSICS LOW TEMPERATURE LABORATORY FOR CHARACTERIZATION OF TECHNICAL INTEREST MATERIALS • ObjectivesPreparations and physical properties studies of scientific and technical interest materials : • intermetallic compounds • superconducting materials • high energy permanent magnets • high permeability alloys • nanostructure materials • metallic glasses • thin films • perovskites • 9 T superconducting coils equipments ( 2K - 400 K) for: - dc and ac magnetic measurements (10 Hz - 10 kHz) - magnetorezistivity - specific heat • 1 T magnetic susceptibility equipment, (77 K - 1300 K) • The Laboratory is involved in folowing research and teaching programmes: • Master and Ph.D programmes in material science • European programmes • National programmes (CERES, MATNANTECH, RELANSIN) • University Research National Council grants • Babes-Bolyai University programmes Collaboration partners Research, teaching and industrial units: ICPE-CA, INFIM, IFA, INCDTIM, SINTEROM, Iaşi, Bucharest, Timişoara Universities; Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timişoara Technical Universities; J.
