Content Creation & Distribution • Primary focus area for our research is content creation & distribution: • Covering Avid, Adobe, Apple, Dolby, etc., looking for changes in mkt share, product developments etc. • Have spoken with hundreds of post & broadcast professionals at IBC and NAB over last few years 5

  6. Goal: Information Exchange With HPA Over The Coming Years • Work with HPA to hear opinions of members and share results • First step was laying a foundation at HPA 2007…now we actually have data to share 6

  9. Last Year’s Results – 2007 HPA • Editing Tools Used Most In The Last 12 Months: • Avid 48% • Final Cut 32% • Autodesk/Discreet 9% • Adobe Premiere 5% • Other 6% 9

  10. Last Year’s Results – 2007 HPA • Intentions to switch from current editing tools to Final Cut in 12 months: • -Already On Final Cut 32% • -Not moving to Final Cut 63% • -Will move from Avid to FC 4% • -Will move from Adobe to FC 1% 10
