  1. 2012 Budget Appropriations Rob Roll, Secretary of Finance Eric Ambos, President Katie Hozan, Vice President Matt Fleming, Treasurer

You MUST have the following items: To be eligible… • An on-campus, university account with the Controller’s Office. • An updated copy of your Student Roster submitted to the Student Affairs Office. (We will verify a roster was on file for last year – since Roster Collection will be after BA this year.) • An updated copy of your organization’s constitution and bylaws submitted to the Student Affairs Office. IF WE DO NOT HAVE THESE, WE CANNOT LOOK AT YOUR APPLICATION

  3. Step 1: • Fill out the Budget Appropriations Form, located on the Student Senate Website (http://senate.onu.edu) • Will be automatically e-mailed to me (r-roll@onu.edu) Application Process

  4. Step 2: Internal Meeting • Initial meetings will be held by the Finance Committee. Organizations will NOT be required to attend them. • After the meetings, organizations will be notified via e-mail of their suggested appropriation amount.

  5. The e-mailed form will allow your organization to accept or appeal the amount suggested by the Finance Committee. • If you accept, there is NO NEED TO GO BEFORE GENERAL ASSEMBLY. Student Senate will vote en bloc for all organizations who wish to accept their amount on either September 26thor October 3rd • The paperwork will be completed the next day to help expedite the process and get the funds to organizations as quickly as possible. Step 3a: Accept the Amount

Complete the necessary form requesting to appear before General Assembly. • AND notify Rob Rollif the suggested amount is not agreeable with your organization to set up a review meeting. • Pick a date to appear before the General Assembly. • General Assembly will hear your reasoning, the Finance Committee’s recommendation, and then vote on the suggested amount (same as in years past). Step 3b: Contest the Amount

  7. Click Log in/Register on the Student Senate homepage

  8. Log Inor click “Create New Account” to Register

  9. Enter Luminis ID for Username and School E-mail Address

  10. Click “Budget Appropriations Form”in the Left Navigation Menu

  11. Fill Out the Form(Your e-mail is automatically inserted)

  12. Finish Page 1, and Click “Next Page”

  13. Finish Page 2, and when done Click “Submit”

  14. Finally, make sure it says the submission was received.

  15. - Application Due: Friday, September 14, 2012 by 11:59pm. - 1st Round of Appropriations: Finance Committee Recommendation for the 1st Round: Saturday, September 22, 2012 Accept or Appeal by Monday, September 24, 2012 at 11:59pm General Assembly 1st Round Voting is Wednesday, September 26, 2012 - 2nd Round of Appropriations: Finance Committee Recommendation for the 2nd Round: Saturday, September 29, 2012 Accept or Appeal by Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:59pm General Assembly 2nd Round Voting is Wednesday, October 3, 2012 Important Dates for Budget Appropriations 2011-12
