  1. The Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind YoungEyes NewsletterWinter 2014 The World of Words Join us on Friday April 4th 2014 between 11am and 6pm in The Bradbury Activity Centre for a day devoted to exploring the different ways of making print accessible and fun! There will be companies and organisations demonstrating technology including the iPad, large print books, audio options, Braille and magnification, plus a chance to chat with staff from The Norfolk Library and Information Service to see what the Libraries have to offer. We are very excited that Giles Abbott a Story Teller, will be joining in our day and there will be a chance to meet and chat to Teachers of the Visually Impaired from The Virtual School Sensory Support and staff from Queen Alexandra College Birmingham. With something of interest for all ages this should be an informative and enjoyable day.

  2. Christmas Party After an excited wait, party day arrived and 122 people gathered in The Bradbury Centre to enjoy an afternoon of music, dancing, fun and games with a yummy tea, topped off by a visit from Father Christmas. 'The Man in Red' arrived in style in a huge, glowing, red, shiny truck driven by our friend Rob Billman with an escort of 9 super bikes from The Eaton Hogs Bikers Club. It was spectacular! Exciting Competition We would like to produce a Christmas Card designed by you! If you would like to be considered, send a big, bold and colourful design on an A4 sheet of paper to Dorothy by the end of April. There will be a prize for the one that is chosen. Good Luck.
