  3. Targeted areas • Small Sites (30%) • Refurbishment (25%) • Asbestos (20%) • Major Projects/large contractors (10%) • Local Priorities (15%) • No planned change for 2012-13

Achievements • Over 70 WWT events • (Almost) two new WWT groups • UKTFA Guidance • Simplified website (added over 230 FAQs) • LWI Toolkit • 3 Busy Builder Sheets • Delivered Pye Tait research • Over 165 prosecutions (both large and small) • 2413 inspections so far in Refurb initiative (3100 contractors)

Existing elements that continue • WWT • Small Sites Strategy (slightly updated) • Refurbishment initiatives • Improving duty-holder compliance • Large contractors project • MEWPs (carried over) • Health in street-works supply chain initiative • Inspection of Temp’ Demountable Structures • Major projects • Commonwealth Games, HSR2, Second Forth Crossing, NNB, Crossrail • Visiting officer work on ELCI and solar panel installation

New Work – 2012-13 • Supply chain initiative with lift installation and maintenance sector • Zero cost comms initiative on fragile roofs • Review of the agreement with BCA • Reviewing what we found in respect of EET • Revise HSG 150 & 47 (underground services) • JACE Working group • 40 Timber Frame Structure interventions • Completion of who’s-doing-what in H&S mapping exercise

Small Sites Strategy (revised) • Target 15 or fewer (small contractor/business) • Concentrate of a few high risk issues • WAH, Good Order, Respiratory & Asbestos, Competence. • Clear simple advice & guidance (BB Sheets & HSG 150) • Support and facilitate WWT • Get better buy-in from industry • Use material supply route to spread messages & guidance • Refresh IND(G) 344 – Essential Toolkit
