SOIL & WATER : FUTURE PLANNING • To Identify the need base requirement of nutrients… • Existing STL will be equipped with micro nutrient testing facility. • Facility of leaf tissue analysis in 40 laboratories • Laboratory for mapping and atlas preparation of beneficial organism • To nourish the soil in sustainable manner… • Establishment of large scale combined micro nutrient production unit • Establishment of 20 liquid bio fertilizer units in sugar cooperatives • Establishment of Bio compost/ phospho compost and Vermi compost unit in all sugar cooperatives • To get more crop per drop … • Area of horticulture crops will be covered under MIS through more incentives. • Construction of water storage devices in canal command areas will be supported with installation of micro irrigation equipment. To feed our people, we must first feed our soil
