  2. In English, to tell how we have been doing something, we say something like: • I have been a teacher for ten years. • I have studied Spanish for two years. • I have been attending Spain Park for four years.

  3. In Spanish, however, to talk about how long you have been doing something, you use: • Hace (from the verb hacer) • A time expression (one year, one month, one day) • The word que • The present tense of the verb

  5. To ask someone how long they have been doing something, use the question: ¿Cuántotiempohaceque _______? (present tense)
