  4. Description of Proficiency level • The goal is to be proficient in the following as far as the standards : • Students write the chemical formula and name for many different compounds using a table of element names, symbols and oxidation numbers.

  13. Exercise #2 • The class will be divided into teams and each team will be given ten formulas to solve. Once they solve these they will go and solve the other sets of 10. First team done will receive 5 bonus points. Second team will receive 3 bonus points. Next two teams will receive 1 bonus point.
