Public Administration and Services For both bachelor study programs in the public administration are available these 2 internationally accredited master programs: • Economics and Administration in Territories • solve social and economic problems of regional development, to work with information systems and understand integration processes. • Economics of Public Services • lead projects and counsel regional institutions and private businesses of services and to coordinate activities, • predict and analyze current situation in public services • like education or medical assistance.

Finance and Accounting for CommonEurope (FINAC) • Joint study program in cooperation with : • University of Economics in Prague • Rotterdam Business School • University in Ljubljana • where you will spend one trimester on each. • Program is derived from Finance, Banking and Investment with focus on financial management. • There is a fee for students.

  18. General Information • The study is completed by • passing a final state exam • defending a diploma work. • Students with a Bachelor in a similar study program will be accepted to the Master program without entrance exams.

Cost of Student Life in BanskaBystrica • A monthly budget around 300€ • ISIC card (20€+10 € /year) • discounts in partner companies, e.g. bus companies, clothes shops... • card can be prepaid for bus and canteen • 0,25€ the ticket for bus with the ISIC • 40 €/year for university sport facilities • accommodation in dormitory : 54€/month (three beds) or 60€/month (single) • internet connection in the rooms • separate kitchen and one bathroom per flat • food : 100€ with supermarket close to the dormitories • student canteen : 1,72€ the meal with online booking • daily menu in city centre : around 4€ • extras : 100€ • and beer for 1€ !
